We have stayed twice at Casa Bruciata. the second time we brough another family. we had the 4 adults and 6 children (adults), all in their 20's. It was a fantastic time. The Villa is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy yourself. the rooms are very comfortable and completely renovated. the grounds are fantastic and the infinity pool, with the long range view is awesome. Mauro and Ilvio are wonderful hosts. They were constantly bringing us wine, olive oil, cheese, vegetables, and a wild boar stew made by Mauro from a 300 year old family receipt. They have owned the property for 400 years. Once you have relaxed enough it is time to have some touring. All within 30 minutes to an hour and a half are the wonderful towns of Cortona, Perugia, Sienna, Orvieto, Assisi, Gubbio, Montepulcianno, Pienza and much more. there could not be a better location. You can even get to Rome or Florence in two hours. I give this a 5 star rating. Submitted By: John & Merry Daly

Marco and Ilvio; My wife, Mike and Ann spent a truly memorable week at Casa Bruciata in May. You were outstanding hosts and made our experience that much more enjoyable.We look forward to returning some day- hopefully in the not too distant future.
